1. How can I get an answer from the KnittingGuru?

We receive many questions at KnittingGuru and cannot always answer each email individually. You may want to check our Archives first to see if your question has already been answered. When you do write to us, we keep a record of questions asked and add answers to them in our Knitting Tips.

2. How long does it take to get my order from the Knitting Boutique?

All domestic orders are shipped by Priority Mail, which takes from 2 to 3 days to most destinations in the USA. We can ship by Express Mail for an additional fee if you let us know that's what you want.

3. Does the KnittingGuru make custom items?

Absolutely! We specialize in custom-made knitwear. Please email me to discuss what you want.

4. How long do custom orders take?

The time it takes to get your item depends on what you order and my schedule. Please allow 2 to 6 weeks for a sweater to be ready, depending on how many I am working on. I will contact you to let you know the approximate shipping date.

Smaller items will be ready sooner. Email me with your specifications and your wish list and I will get back to you promptly with an estimate of when your item(s) will be completed.

5. Can I return an item if there is a problem?

Yes, we want you to be 100% satisfied. New, unused knitwear with tags attached, and unopened kits, can be returned within 10 days if there is a problem. Please do not send anything back until you email us to receive your return item forms. We cannot accept items that do not have the return forms attached. Custom designs are not returnable.

6. How do payments work?

You may pay for your order with your Paypal account or with any major credit card using our safe, secure Paypal shopping carts.

7. Is it secure to use Paypal?

Paypal is a very safe way of paying for things online. I use it all the time and have never had any problems. The seller never even sees your credit card number or other personal information. The payment is handled by Paypal, which has a very secure and speedy process.

8. Do you ship overseas?

Yes we do. Buyers from countries other than the USA should email me to discuss shipment methods and fees.

9. What about privacy? Does your site store my information or sell customer information?


Your privacy is important to us. We do not store information about you and we never transmit or sell it to anyone else.
